Ensuring your data is safe with Berbera Rugs
We want you to love your Berbera rug. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may request a return within 7 days of receiving your order, provided the rug is unused, unwashed, and in its original condition. Due to the handmade nature of our products, slight variations in color, texture, or pattern are part of their uniqueness and are not considered defects.
Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer.
All custom-made or made-to-order rugs are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded, as they are crafted specifically for you. Production timelines may vary between 4 to 6 weeks, followed by delivery.
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to replace an item, please follow the return process (if eligible) and place a new order.
If your rug arrives damaged or with a hand-made defect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery, including clear photos. We will assess the issue and offer an appropriate solution.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on your location and customs procedures. Berbera Rugs is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance, courier issues, or force majeure events.
Berbera rugs are handcrafted from natural fibers and require delicate care. Do not wash with water or use liquid cleaners, as this may damage the fibers and colors. For regular maintenance, we recommend deep vacuuming and occasional exposure to sunlight to naturally refresh the rug. Professional dry cleaning may be used if necessary. Damage resulting from improper care or washing methods is not covered by our return or refund policy.
